How to buy secondhand finds with confidence

Genbrug & Gaver brings secondhand, handmade, and commission items together in one webshop. Here is how buying works and what to check before ordering.

01

Find an item you like

Items are secondhand, handmade, or sold on commission. Many exist as one-offs, so the item is gone when it has been sold.

02

Read condition and description

Check photos, price, category, and condition. If we know about defects or clear signs of use, the text should say so you can choose honestly.

03

Add the item to your cart

When the item is in the shop and in stock, you can buy it online. If it is sold in the physical shop first, we contact you and cancel the order.

04

Pay safely and receive the item

You pay through the webshop. We pack and ship the item, or follow the delivery option you choose at checkout.

What does condition mean?

Condition tells you whether an item is new, used, or refurbished. Used items may have patina, small marks, or wear. That is normal, but known defects must be described clearly.

Your rights

  • Hansen-trading.dk ApS is the seller to you as the customer.
  • You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.
  • You have a 2-year warranty. For used items, defects are assessed against the item's age, price, and condition.
