Right of Complaint

1. 2-Year Right of Complaint
All commission items sold by Hansen-trading.dk ApS are covered by the full 2-year right of complaint under the Danish Sale of Goods Act section 83. Hansen-trading.dk ApS is the seller (commissioner), so complaints must always be made to us - not to the original commission owner.
We do not use the special 1-year reduction for secondhand goods. For used items, any defect is still assessed in light of the item's age, condition, and price, but the statutory complaint period still remains 2 years.
2. Sold with Known Defect
Some secondhand items may be sold with a specific, clearly disclosed defect. This does not remove the entire right of complaint. It only means that the specifically disclosed defect is excluded because you as the buyer were informed about it before purchase.
The disclosed defect is shown on the product page before purchase and repeated in the cart, checkout, order confirmation, and invoice so the scope of the exclusion is clear and can be documented later. All other defects remain covered by the full 2-year right of complaint.
3. Your Remedies
If an item has a defect that is not the separately disclosed defect, your statutory remedies may, depending on the circumstances, include repair, replacement, a proportional price reduction, or cancellation. We always assess the specific case under the Danish Sale of Goods Act and in light of the item's age, condition, and price.
4. How to Make a Complaint
Contact us as soon as possible at kundeservice@genbrugoggaver.dk if you want to make a complaint about an item. Please include your order number, the item name, and a short description of the problem, and attach photos if relevant. We will reply with the next steps as quickly as possible.
5. Withdrawal and Terms
The right of complaint is not the same as the right of withdrawal. For online purchases, you also have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Read more in our terms and on the withdrawal page.
